Hello, everyone!
This is the time I share some favorite or iconic quotes from the book up next in my review list. Before that though, I thought I’d tell you something new I’m going to try.
I’ve noticed that many people who check out my reviews are looking for spoilers on the books. So, I decided to help those cheaters out a little bit, with more in-depth plot summary posts that will be password-protected (SPOILERS as the password). This way, those who just want to get out of reading their book club book can know what happens, but those who just want a review without the end being ruined can be spared. I’ll link to these posts near the beginning of my normal review posts.
So, with that new business out of the way, here are the quotes from “Room” by Emma Donoghue:
When I was a little kid I thought like a little kid, but now I’m five I know everything.
In Room me and Ma had time for everything. I guess the time gets spread very thin like butter all over the world, the roads and houses and playgrounds and stores, so there’s only a little smear of time on each place, then everyone has to hurry on to the next bit.
Why do people say [careful] only after the hurt?
My review will be up soon so until then, happy reading to all!
-K
