I have some quotes for you. I know so many people, like my mother and I, are getting psyched up for the new season of HBO’s “True Blood.” In honor of next weekend’s premiere, I have quotes and will review the first book in the Sookie Stackhouse series, “Dead Until Dark” by Charlaine Harris.
“That’s interesting,” he said. “I had a psychic once. It was incredible.”
“Did the psychic think so?” (Eric Northman and Sookie’s response)“For awhile I taped soap operas and watched them at night when I thought I might be forgetting what it was like to be human. After a while I stopped, because from the examples I saw on those shows, forgetting humanity was a good thing.” (Bill Compton)
You won’t find a vampire in a Ford Fiesta.
Life had sure been simpler when I hadn’t dated.
Sometimes you just have to roll in it.
Check back in soon for my review and spoilers (but if you’ve seen the first season of the show, you’ll already know what happens).
Until then,
-K
