The Proposal by Jasmine Guillory || Comfort read discussion

Whenever I’m in a brain funk, I like most readers tend to gravitate toward lighter reads. So when I was in ~a mood~ recently, I picked up The Proposal by Jasmine Guillory.

This filled that good-time need for me quite well. The romance was cute, our main character and her friend group were a delight. I did have some problems with the dialogue not seeming super realistic as well as a gripe about the main conflict in the romance (miscommunication foils me again!). But you know, it was still a gosh darn good time going. And I’ll be returning to this series whenever I’m in the mood again.
